OpenAI

•Chat Completions: Powers the AI chatbot conversations, enabling natural language understanding and context-aware responses for end users.
•Text Embeddings: Used for knowledge retrieval via vector embeddings (text-embedding-3-small), allowing the chatbot to search and reference business-specific knowledge bases accurately.

Data Handling & Privacy

✓Owivo does not use any user data to train or fine-tune AI models.
✓Conversation data sent to OpenAI is limited to what is necessary to generate responses and is subject to OpenAI's API data usage policies, which state that API data is not used for training.
✓All data processing complies with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
✓Business data uploaded to knowledge bases is stored securely and only used to improve chatbot responses for that specific business.

Security

All communication between Owivo and OpenAI is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. API keys are stored securely and never exposed to end users. Owivo maintains strict access controls to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
